Location: Ukhiya Team Office under CARE- Cox's Bazar Field Office.
Duration: Duration of the Contract will be up to March 31, 2022 with possibility of extension.

The Office Manager is expected to demonstrate supportive supervision and effective leadership to her/his team in an exemplary manner which would influence other manages of the office to replicate such supervision and leadership model. The incumbent is responsible for overall operational coordination of different sectors and Programme Suport Teams based in CARE Ukhiya Team Office. The incumbent directly supervises the Programme Support Team based in Ukhiya Team Office including warehouse teams. The Office Manager will ensure assistance to all sectors to implement their program activities and ensure all associated support are in place. S/he will be custodian of Team/Camp office level store, warehouse/non warehouse item & assets, ensure periodic physical counting of assets as well preparing periodic asset reports. This position is responsible ensuring all local purchases as well as coordinating Cox's Bazaar Procurement Department for purchasing from outside of Ukhiya. S/he assist in HR related activities like staff joining, confirmation, staff information, new staff bank A/C opening, management of short contract and casual workforce. S/he will oversee the security matters not only at Team Office level but also team offices, hub office, and warehouses located across the jurisdiction of Ukhiya Office. The Office Manager will be overall in charge of all administrative and logistics matter under Ukhiya Team Office. S/he conducts staff development under her/his team through performance monitoring and management, providing coaching and mentoring, arranging various capacity building schemes internally and from external sources. S/he assists Senior Office Manager to address the Internal Audit recommendations and actively take part in preparing action plan against the audit findings. This position will be responsible for the efficient and cost effective use of the office assets/resources. This position will be responsible to follow up bi-weekly completion of personal activity report (Timesheet) of all national staff. S/he ensures equitable allocation of all CARE assets including vehicles and motorcycles to optimize the utilization of them. The incumbent maintains close coordination with Upazila Administration, Camp-in-Charge, UP Chairmen and represent CARE as needed with utmost level of diplomacy. S/he plays a key role in preparation and facilitation of visits made by various internal and external stakeholders. Office Manager –Ukhiya is required to make frequent field visits to be on top of the things happening in camps, esp. challenges and takes necessary actions to the challenges are solved. |
