Manager (Onsite Operations) - Linde Bangladesh

Purpose of this position

The purpose of this position is to ensure Air Separation Unit (ASU) plant's overall operations and maintenance activities in accordance with plant policies and procedures to achieve optimum level of productivity.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Preparation and execution of annual plan for production volume, capital expenditure, maintenance expenses, operating parameters, manpower, etc.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation of ASU plant to achieve customer satisfaction as per sales demand
• Ensure reliability of plant operations with planned preventive maintenance
• Ensure 100% statutory compliance with regulatory bodies for the property & operations,
• Responsible for safety & security of the Assets & Facility & workforce including contractors
• Ensure strict observance of Golden Rules of safety, coordinate safety Stand down program and implement various safety related initiatives.
• Provide support to SHEQ activity like conducting Lead safe/PTW audits/Safety walk/Conducting Risk Assessments to improve the safety culture and safe behaviour
• Responsible for planning materials requirement for plant spares and procuring them accordingly
• Responsible for maintaining the Quality Management system (ISO-9001 etc.) and certification for the facility with adequate controls on QMS which includes conducting internal audits/Management Review Meetings etc.
• Ensure the skill development of team members in cooperation with Human Resources
• Prepare various production related reports for cluster and regional operations teams.

What You Bring to us:

Experience and Education

• Graduate ideally in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
• At least 5 years working experience in operations or engineering section including minimum 2 years in a team lead role
• Practical experience on lean manufacturing/continuous improvement techniques
• Female candidates will get high preference 

Additional

• Advance level IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Highly organized and able to manage a broad portfolio of activities independently
• Strong communications skills, organisational awareness and the ability to influence senior leaders in a multi-cultural environment.
