U.S. Embassy Dhaka is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Local Guard Force Coordinator.
This Locally Employed Staff (LES) member is responsible, with guidance from the Regional Security Officer (RSO), for the planning, management, integration and leadership of Local Guard Force (LGF). As per the directive of RSO and Senior FSNI, the incumbent developes an integrated security plan for oversight, daily management and operations of Post's LGF. Incumbent prepares draft security and operations plan for LGF, supports RSO on recruitment of LGF staff members, monitors and evaluates guard performance, overseas trainings & drills and performes a wide variety of administrative and supervisory duties related to LGF program. Incumbent also maintains liaison with mid-high level host government security officials, works with FMC & GSO and prepares draft budget and procurement plan for LGF.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Arts, Commerce, or Science is required. (US equivalent University/College Degree). (You must attach a copy of your degree certificate along with your application form.)
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in investigative or management work with the military, police, large private organization or U.S.G. organization.In addition, two years of supervisory/managerial experience required.
- Level IV (Fluent-Speaking/reading/writing) in English and Bangla is required. This may be tested.
