Role Overview
The Knowledge Management and Learning Manager represents a crucial aspect of programme quality and knowledge management within Solidaridad Bangladesh. The incumbent shall lead the design and implementation of systems that ensure evidence-based impact and innovation capture, cross-project learning, and thought leadership to inform strategy and planning for country office programming. The position will report to the Country Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Knowledge Management and Learning

• Develop and implement knowledge management, impact, and innovation strategies across projects.

• Establish systems for documentation of project outcomes, case studies, and lessons learned.

• Facilitate internal learning forums, workshops, and communities of practice.

• Curate and maintain a digital knowledge repository to promote an organisational culture prioritising learning, quality, innovation, and impactful programming.

Research and Evidence Generation

• Lead research and innovation on sustainable agriculture, regenerative practices, circular textile production, and supply chain traceability.

• Design and oversee impact evaluations, baseline/endline studies, and policy briefs.

• Partner with universities, think tanks, and research institutes for joint studies.

• Ensure research findings are translated into practical tools for field teams, farmers, and supply chain actors.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Integration

• Coordinate with the PMEL team to integrate new technologies and digital tools for enhanced data collection, analysis, and visualisation.

• Implement a value-based PMEL system to measure KPIs and ROI of programmes.

• Design and implement a strategic assurance model to verify and validate programmatic outcomes.

• Review monitoring and evaluation reports to ensure technical soundness and quality.

Communication and Advocacy Support

• Provide knowledge management and communication support across projects to highlight innovations and impact.

• Translate technical findings into knowledge products such as policy briefs, blogs, infographics, and white papers.

• Support external engagement with government, private sector, and civil society through evidence-based advocacy.

• Represent the organisation in national and international conferences, webinars, and policy dialogues.

Capacity Building

• Work closely with programme, PMEL, and communication teams to ensure cohesive implementation and reporting.

• Strengthen the analytical and strategic capacity of teams for adaptive management.

• Develop and deliver training on PMEL methodologies, data integrity, and evidence-based storytelling.

• Foster a learning culture through regular sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing forums.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Master's degree in Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 7–10 years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning within the development sector.

• Proven expertise in designing M&E frameworks, conducting impact assessments, and programme development.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in producing high-quality reports and presentations.

• Knowledge of environmental and social sustainability standards, including circular economy and carbon neutrality concepts.

• Ability to work effectively in multicultural settings and engage with diverse stakeholders.

Employment Type: Project-based fixed term.
