MJL Bangladesh Limited (MJLBL) is a public listed company in the downstream petroleum sector of Bangladesh engaged in blending, importing and distributing of Mobil brand lubricants of ExxonMobil. We are looking for an experienced professional with outstanding personality, who will lead our Supply Chain Force and responsible for ensuring company's Supply Chain Management.

Position: Head of Supply Chain

Location: Dhaka

Educational Qualification: MBA or equivalent from any reputed University.

Experience: At least 17-year (s) experience in relevant field.

Job Nature: Full Time

Major Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the overall supply chain process to ensure smooth supply of finished goods for the market as well as raw materials for uninterrupted support in production
  • Ensure all regulatory and compliance measures are met and responsible for the developing, documenting, and executing a comprehensive logistics and distribution strategic plan and execute which will drive optimal customer service and profitability of the company
  • Coordinate work effort of Supply Chain team to ensure the availability of Finished Products for the customers, Base Oil, Additives, Packaging Materials for LOBP, Capital Machinery and other items for Projects, as an when required by management to meet the organizational objectives
  • ensure the timely supply of Finished Products for Export Customers, Foreign Going Vessels to meet the export target of the organization.
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Initiatives that focus on business objectives and meeting growing business needs, review process to streamline, improve operational efficiency of the department.
  • Communicate and coordinate with ExxonMobil (Finished Lubes and Base Oil) / MJL(S) and other suppliers with volume forecasting, new product launching, sourcing, to support the organization research and development objectives.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other functional departments: Lube Oil Blending Plant, Customer Service, Finance and Planning, Sales & Marketing to meet the organizational objectives
  • Provide support in designing & implementing of SAP S4 HANA as steering committee member in MJLBL
  • Constant & consistent compliances with local and MJLBL SH&E regulations & policies in daily work, maintaining the guideline of ExxonMobil 3 PIMS, Quality Practice and Guideline and ISO in Supply Chain Management

Skills & Competencies:

  • Sound Knowledge on SAP S4 HANA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strategic thinking, team orientation, strong analytical skills and technically sound.
  • Outstanding performance records and proven relevant performances
  • An encouraging & enthusiastic Team Leader
  • Empirical Knowledge of the Industry and Supply Chain Aptitude
  • Strong communication, relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and process management skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively

Salary: Negotiable
