Objective of the programme: To provide support in generating COVID-19 related data analysis to support evidence-based analysis for timely sharing of analyzed feedback with GoB and partners.
Purpose of the activity: To provide technical and administrative support to IVD team at WCO in generating data analysis to support evidence-based analysis for timely sharing with GoB and partners.
Description of duties:
Under the guidance of the WHO Team Lead- IVD and under direct supervision of Medical Officer – ISS, the incumbent will have to perform the activities to support COVID-19 vaccination as described below:
- Assists to organize and improve the data management system of different activities under COVID-19 vaccination roll out
- To enter, clean and analyze data and prepare tabular and graphics presentation materials and reports on activities of COVID-19 vaccination;
- Assists to provide routine administrative support to the COVID-19 vaccination in planning and implementing programme interventions; maintaining records; and preparing daily, monthly, quarterly reports;
- Assists to design customized software for efficient analysis and presentation of data;
- Assists to maintain hard and softcopies of data from reports for periodic evaluation for programmatic purpose and for expert committees;
- Assist to create dashboard for real time monitoring system
- To provide secretarial assistance in organizing meetings, conducting trainings, and other activities;
- Assist to develop daily reporting feedback to be shared with DCs
- To perform any other task assigned by the Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology / Statistics / Other relevant field
Desirable:
- Master's degree in the relevant field
Experience:
Essential:
- 3 years' experience in data entry and data management.
Desirable:
- 2 years working experience in public health programmes and working experience in international organizations
Additional Functional Knowledge and Skills:
High–level analytical and organizational skills applied to data entry, data management and report writing. Skills in communication and facilitating coordination

- Knowledge of Acrobat Reader, MS Access, SQL, Epi-Info, or SPSS or STATA would be desirable
Duty Station: Multiple Duty Stations in Bangladesh
