Position: Dialogue Associate, Communication
The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a leading think tank in Bangladesh, invites applications from promising professionals interested in pursuing a career in development communication. Job responsibilities include digital content creation (short articles & blog posts), preparing communication content materials for the website and social media activities, copy-editing inputs (edit, proofread, restructure, and rewrite to improve the text's readability and language use), writing newsletters, preparing dialogue reports, press releases, brochures, leaflets, event management and post-event documentation, etc. Basic knowledge of video editing software, Photoshop and Illustrator will be considered an added advantage. This position will provide an excellent opportunity to develop skills in event management, communication, media and public engagement, outreach, and publication.
The ideal candidate should have a Master's degree in Economics, Development Studies, International Relations, Journalism and Communication and other relevant subjects with a minimum CGPA of 3.60 from a reputed university. Having a keen and demonstrated interest in issues related to macroeconomic policy, data concerns, global economic issues and sustainable development goals (SDGs) will be beneficial for the candidate to carry out the responsibilities. The candidate must have excellent drafting ability in English and Bangla and should have adequate computer knowledge. Previous experience of the above-mentioned qualifications and skills will be considered as added advantages for the candidates. The job demands an ability to work under pressure and with creativity and initiative.
Compensation and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a competitive compensation package starting from Taka 61,600 per month, along with other admissible benefits as per organisational policy. The final compensation package will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and relevant professional experience.
