Data Scientist, Digital Loan Underwriting under Credit Risk Management Division

Grade: AVP

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify problems in collaboration with the internal stakeholders and delivering the desired outcome within timelines
• Develop detailed scope, methodology and framework and executing on the framework with appropriate data mining techniques
• Engage with internal stakeholders from risk, products, portfolio, etc. during the process of identification of data, development of scorecard and deployment
• Process of structured and unstructured data, cleansing data, and verifying the integrity of data to be used for analysis
• Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
• Develop algorithms using advanced mathematical and statistical techniques like machine learning to develop predictive model to predict outcomes and recommend optimal actions to management.
• Develop credit scorecards, testing & monitoring frameworks and overseeing the deployment of scorecards
• Ensure all project documentation is up to date and maintain the highest levels of quality in deliverables

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate from a well-recognized institution preferably in relevant subject
• Minimum 5 years of analytical experience in applying statistical solutions to business problems
• Hands on experience with data analytics/programming tools such as SQL and R/Python is mandatory
• Proficient in Linear & Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Gradient Boosting, SVM, Neural Networks, k-NN, Naive Bayes etc.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Expert in customer centricity, results oriented and self-propelled
• Ability to work in a team, capability to meet deadlines and keen to develop others
