Job Responsibilities

• Managing rolling forecast of Raw Materials, Spare parts, Capital machinery & Services to all enlisted overseas vendors as per demand planning & sourcing section master production plan & purchase requisition.
• Manage integrated process among Production, R&D, material planning & sourcing, Finance & Accounts, Logistics, C&F team, SCM coordinator & others dept. to ensure effective Supply chain functions.
• Managing all kinds of Import Letter of Credit opening related (LC/Advance TT/Documentary Collection, etc.) Documents, Banking & Insurance related correspondence with AD Banks monitor LC opening to bill payment settlement to favor of suppliers.
• Responsible to place web/email booking to forwarder & administer in-bound (Freight Forwarder) movement of all international goods & ensure exact arrival of goods within required time frame and obtain best freight rates at all times.
• Capable to handle smooth execution of overseas shipments & on time goods handover to shipping line/nominated freight forwarder. And ensure to handover clean import shipping documents to enlisted C&F team before cargo arrived date.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers to ensure vendor relationship & monitor evaluates and improves the vendor performance continuously. Design, evaluate and renew all contracts as per requirement and monitor and prepare reports monthly & quarterly for all import activities to Head of Commercial and recommend changes if required.
• Conduct regular meeting with team raw martial sourcing & planning team, production, inventory/store regarding raw materials in-transit quantity, re-order level, factory stock, safety stock & requires consumption against the particular raw materials, time to time.
• Adequate knowledge regarding Import policy order, EPO, HS Codes, NBR & Customs SRO Rules, local govt. rules for cross border trade, Central bank fex-policy order, ICC rules for Int. trade etc. and ensure all internal compliance for commercial (Import) as per company policies.
• Maintain & organize import related data/documents & report weekly/monthly reporting as per company policies to line manager & adequate knowledge on ERP software use.
• To carry out any other jobs assigned by HoD, Line manager & product CEO as and when required.
• Landed cost management & analysis of cost variances of imported goods

Educational Requirements

• Graduate in Business administrations / economics from Public university/NSU/AIUB/EWU/IUB/BRAC
• PGD in Supply chain or CIPS will be added advantages

Experience Requirements

• At least 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Age at least 28 years
• Minimum 5 Years experienced in Commercial operations at local/foreign manufacturing industry.
• Excellent communication in English & Bengali (speaking, reading & writing).
• Sound knowledge in computer applications (office application, MS word, excel, Power-points etc.)
• Experienced in ERP (Oracle/Sap) business application.
