Associate Manager, Database Administration Services - BRAC Bank

BRAC Bank is currently looking for an ambitious, intelligent, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individual for the following position in its Technology Division:

Associate Manager, Database Administration Services

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for performing regular DBA activities (Oracle/MSSQL Server/MySQL);
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, up-gradation, and maintenance of database platform;
• Install, configure and maintain security, high availability, and DR solutions;
• Tune all database instance components, including SQL and PL/SQL code;
• Implement and troubleshoot database backup/recovery-related issues;
• Ensure regular database-related deployments and releases;
• Ensure capacity and performance reporting of the database environment regularly.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in CS/CSE/ECE/ETE/EEE or related subject from a reputed university with a satisfactory academic track record;
• Certification on DBA track (Oracle/MSSQL Server/MySQL) is preferred;
• At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in a relevant field;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Must be a team player;
• Willing to work in roaster/shifting duty and on holidays/vacations, as and when required;
• Proficient in customer centricity, self-propelled.
