We are looking for an Assistant Director, Communications to perform responsibilities including Campaign planning and execution across various communication channels, crafting marketing communication contents such as press kits and newsletters, managing social media operations, lead in event management, sponsorship and branding activities in Brac University.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective campaign strategies and plans that will enhance the reputation of Brac University.
- Lead and supervise the development of all designs, content, and production of all marketing materials and Social Media marketing activities including content development, promotion and analyzing performances of the social media posts.
- Lead and supervise the writing, editing, proofreading, and distributing press releases and media alerts to local media outlets.
- Supervise and monitor all advertising activities across various mainstream media- newspaper, portals etc. and monitor the organizing of events, sponsorship and branding activities to create positive brand perception and reputation of the University.
- Work with agencies, vendors, partners etc. to plan, create and execute communication campaigns in social media and other channels of media.
- Create communication and marketing strategies for the University courses offered, new launches, events, and promotions.
Requirements
- Master's level qualification in Marketing, Communications or Business Studies with good academic credentials
- 8 years of experience in the related field and in which 3 years of experience in the managerial position in the relevant field
- Experience of successfully positioning brands, campaign management, interpersonal skills and are adept at building relationships with different stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Bangla and English with Good interpersonal skill and must be cross functional
- Strong knowledge of content development and a strong network of PR and media contacts would be highly advantageous
- A high level of attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
