Job Responsibilities

The candidate should have the following commands:

Highlighting the benefits of specific faculties, departments and programs in order to attract students and encourage diversity on campus.
-
Staying currently with the university admission processes and requirements, faculty programs, major and minor courses, and developments in education and financial aid.
-
Organizing admission events and other promotional activities.
-
Conducting interviews, reviewing application materials, and assisting in the admission-related decision-making processes of the potential students.
-
Arranging campus tours and conducting information sessions for a group of potential students.
-
Maintaining accurate and current knowledge of educational legislation (like Private University Act 2010, UGC admission rules, Ministry of Education and Ministry of health Admission related rules, etc.) trends, developments and resources.

Familiarity with colleges, private universities and public universities along with their ongoing programs, major and minor courses, admission requirements, processes, scholarships and financial aid resources.

Reporting on all admission campaigns and evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns.

To operate the university's computerized systems and databases.
Educational Requirements
-
The candidate should have Master's Degree/ Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
-
The candidate must have at least two First Classes/ Divisions/ A Grades throughout the academic career.
-
Candidates with 3rd Division/ Class/ GPA/CGPA below 3:00 Grade in any public examination do not need to apply.

Ability to travel on occasions outside the metropolitan area.

Ability to evaluate students' transcripts and/or other academic records to judge the candidature.

Knowledge of university admission policies, standards and procedures.

Strong interpersonal verbal, telephonic, and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Knowledge of the broad spectrum of available university admission units, academic units, curricula and programs.
