The Japanese government is giving around 2000 iPhones to passengers and crew members who have been stuck aboard the Princess Cruises ship for more than a week.
Around 170 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, according to a Business Insider report.
The phones have come with a pre-downloaded app that will help people request "medication, arrange consultations with doctors, and receive information from health officials," reported Business Insider.
