A video of a visually impaired boy from the Philippines singing his heart out to world renowned Sam Smith's song has gone viral, even catching the attention of the artist himself, reports Says.com 

A Facebook user uploaded the video on Wednesday, February 5. As of now, the video has already received more than 10 million views and 3.33 lakh likes.

"WHO IS THIS KID!!!!? YOU ARE OUT OF THIS UNIVERSE WHOEVER YOU ARE," multi-Grammy Award winner Sam Smith said on Twitter.

The reach of the video was so overwhelming that even Kelly Clarkson, judge of reality show The Voice and winner of American Idol Season 1, responded to it. 

Moreover, the impact of this viral video has led to the discovery of the boy's identity. 

It turns out, the singer is Carl Malone Montecido a former finalist on the Filipino amateur singing competition Tawag ng Tanghalan (Call of the Stage) – a segment of the noontime programme "It's Showtime.
