Thrash will compete with the winners from Nepal, Sri Lanka and India.

Thrash metal band Thrash won second "Wacken Metal Battle Bangladesh" and will represent our country at "Bangalore Open Air 2020" to be held on March 20.

The battle took place at Jamuna Future Park on 22nd February.

Thrash will compete with the winners from Nepal, Sri Lanka and India. The champion band of Wacken Metal Battle - Indian Subcontinent will go to Wacken Open Air, Germany to represent their respective countries. Last year, Trainwreck won "Bangalore Open Air 2019" and rocked the crowd in Germany.

The selection process of the battle was very competitive. Many bands sent their demos to the Bangalore Open Air committee from which they selected five bands. Later, these five bands performed in the metal battle with their original numbers in front of a jury panel and a crowd of metal-heads to win Bangladesh chapter of Wacken battle.
