Swastika Mukherjee: ‘Bengali actors don’t get equal opportunities in Bollywood’

'Jaatishwar' actress Swastika Mukherjee claims that Bollywood has a biased attitude towards regional actors, especially from Bengal and Assam.

The actress said that although the actors are not treated badly, the Bollywood elites don't care much about the work a regional actor has done in his her workspace, reported by Pinkvilla.

Swastika firmly believes that Bengali actors don't get as many opportunities like South Indian or Punjabi actors despite being highly acclaimed artists there or having worked in National Award winning films.

Swastika is an acclaimed and prominent actor who has previously worked twice with the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in Detective Byomkesh Bakshi and finally in Sushant's final film Dil Bechara.
