Veteran actor and theatre artist Tushar Khan was shifted to the ICU yesterday at Green Life Hospital due to complications arising from Covid-19 infections.

The actor has been hospitalised for the last two days due to being infected by the Omicron variant of coronavirus.

"Tushar tested positive for Covid-19 about a week ago. He was admitted to the hospital the day before yesterday," Veteran actor Mamunur Rashid told The Business Standard.

"He was shifted to the ICU last night," he added.

Tushar rose to fame in 1982 since his association with the theatre group "Aranyak Natto Dol".
