‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2’ arrives in theatres October 7, 2022

The sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is moving forward with three directors at the helm.
According to Variety, Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K Thompson are the directing trio for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2. Dos Santos was already reported to be directing the Sony Pictures Animation sequel, though Powers and Thompson have been working with Dos Santos from the start. Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman directed the first Spider-Verse movie.
The Sony Pictures Animation will also mark the return of Chris Miller, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad and Christina Steinberg and Phil Lord as producers, according to Variety.
