'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' script was locked while filming

The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" script was kept locked in a safe while filming to prevent any spoilers about the film's ending from leaking. 

The Quentin Tarantino directed film achieved ten Academy Award nominations, and was the favourite to win Best Picture. Tarantino's previous scripts have records of leaking to the public before the movies were to be released.

Although the film ultimately lost out Best Picture to "Parasite", "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" has solidly earned its place as another Tarantino classic, and a love letter to Hollywood itself.

In a recent interview, Tarantino's first assistant director William Paul Clark described how and why they kept the film script so closely guarded. Clark worked with Tarantino on many of his movies and was not surprised when the director wanted to keep the third act of "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood" safe, locked in the accounting office.
