Noted personalities around the world stand against rape
They also asked for the speedy trial for the victims
Bengali personalities and celebrities from 12 countries have shown solidarity with the ongoing protests against rape and violence towards women.
The video titled "Stand against Rape" produced by Runner TV showcases writers, journalists, cultural activists and media personalities came together in the video to raise their voice against rapes, according to a press release.
They also asked for the speedy trial for the victims.

The media personalities include Bangladeshi actors Tony Dias, Kazi Maruf and and Khairul Islam Pakhi. Model Jeniffa Binte Jamal from Malaysia, Journalist and writer Urmi Rahman from India and Lipika Roy, research scholar at Benares Hindu University, from Australia, Columnist Ajay Dasgupta and Poet and Author Nazmeen Mortuza, human rights Activist Ajanta Debray and Cultural Activist Shah Sultana Rumi Haque, among others.
