Music composers, producers unite to form association

Music composers and producers have united to form "Music Composers Association of Bangladesh." The prominent personalities announced the coalition through a virtual conference on August 4.
The association members told the media that this was in the works for a while. The composers wanted a committee that would solve the professional and social issues they confront. The association is the culmination of their concerns.
The composers believe the association would make a huge impact in the improvement of the music industry.
Sheikh Sadi Khan was announced as the association's convener.
During the conference, they named the 11-member committee name including the name of Sheikh Sadi Khan. The members of the committee are Partha Barua, Bappa Mazumder, SI Tutul, Foad Nasser Babu, Ripon Khan, Naquib Khan, Farid Ahmed and Anisur Rahman Tanu. The committee also includes veteran composers Ali Hossain, Alam Khan and Md Shah Newaz as the advisor.
