Leonardo DiCaprio's production house 'Appian Way' signs deal with Apple
Leonardo's Appian Way has 'Killers of the Flower Moon' and series 'Shining Girls' in works with the tech giant.
Leonardo DiCaprio's production house 'Appian Way' has signed multi-year deal with Apple.
Appian Way is run by DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson. The production house already has two projects set up for streamers. One of the project is the thriller series "Shining Girls" that'd see Elizabeth Moss track down her attacker after a brutal assault, reported by Hollywood Reporter.
The other project is the much anticipated and hyped Scorsese film "Killers of the Flower Moon". The hype is increased as DiCaprio would also star alongside Robert Di Niro.
A majority of Appian Way's credits are previous DiCaprio films. Including "The Revenant," "The Aviator," and "The Wolf of Wall Street". They have also recently entered the TV scene with the history series "Grant" and has recently taken on Disney's "The Right Stuff".
However, Leonardo DiCaprio is not the only star who's attached with Apple for future projects. Prominent stars like- Oprah, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Idris Elba and Alfonso Cuaron all have signed deals with apple and will be collaborating with them in the future.
Apple now has deals with popular studios. Much notably- A24 and Peanuts. This new partnership with DiCaprio is the latest addition to their arsenal in the streaming wars.
