'The Last of Us' TV series in the works at HBO

‘The Last of Us’ is going to be the first series from Playstation Productions.
The long awaited TV series adaptation of the video game 'The Last of Us' is finally confirmed at HBO, with some top-tier talents from the industry.
The TV series is under development with writer/executive producer Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and Neil Druckmann (Uncharted franchise). 'The Last of Us' is going to be the first series from Playstation Productions.
Chris Parnell, co-president of Sony Pictures Television Studios, says that The Last of Us will be "the first of many shows [they] intend to develop with our friends at PlayStation Productions."
The HBO series is expected to cover the events of the original game and possibly portions of the sequel.
