The biopic is reportedly titled as “Warhol” and the movie will depict the dramatic life of the artist.

Jared Leto has confirmed that he will play revered artist Andy Warhol in an upcoming movie.

The actor confirmed via his Instagram that he would be portraying the artist in his next film and the movie is reportedly titled as "Warhol."

The prolific artist achieved much in his short career and the biopic will shed light on his dramatic life. From collaborating with bands like The Rolling Stones, The Velvet Underground, to creating one of the most liberating place for artists in New York "The Factory".

Many believe it'd also cover Valerie Jean Solanas' influence on Warhol's life. Valerie was an American radical feminist and a self-published author.

Andy Warhol still remains an international pop icon. His artwork depicted a seemingly bland Campbell Soup cans.

However, there is a controversy surrounding the film as Warhol was an openly gay icon. Thus, Leto will  be again seen playing LGBTQ+ character after his Oscar-winning role in Dallas Buyers Club.
