Hollywood celebrities who were supporting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris outpoured their excitement while stars who supported Donald Trump vented out their frustration of alleged voter fraud on social media.

Finally, the much-awaited US election 2020 result was announced on Saturday and Joe Biden has defeated Donald Trump to become the 46th President of the United States.

The Hollywood celebrities who were supporting Joe Biden and Kamala Harris outpoured their excitement on their social media account while stars who supported Donald Trump vented out their frustration of alleged voter fraud, reports Yahoo.

Here are some of the reactions of celebrities:

John Legend: The singer who had been quite vocal against the Trump government was quite ecstatic by Biden's win.

He wrote on his Twitter wall, "Congratulations to President-Elect Biden and Vice President-Elect Harris! Thank you for choosing to serve your country during these challenging times."

Lady Gaga: Lady Gaga had been actively campaigning for Joe Biden. The singer urged supporters to "Vote like your children's lives depends on it, because they do" and performed several of her hit songs.

The singer captioned her Instagram post saying, ""@JoeBide @KamalaHarris and the American people, you just gave the world one of the greatest acts of kindness and bravery humanity has ever seen."

Jennifer Lopez: Jennifer Lopez shared a festive video of herself dancing on stage. "PRESIDENT BIDEN!!!!!!! VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS!"

Julia Louis-Dreyfus: The actress who played a former senator turned vice-president on the television show Veep tweeted, "'Madam Vice President'" is no longer a fictional character."

Reese Witherspoon: "Legally Blonde" actress shared her excitement on her Instagram account with the caption, "Today is a monumental day. No matter what side you are on, let's take a moment to recognize how far women have come in this country."

"Thinking about all those who shattered glass ceilings and paved the way for a woman to *finally* be Vice President of the United States makes me so emotional. Sojourner Truth. Harriet Tubman. Shirley Chisholm. Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Kamala Harris. I salute them all. And to the young girls of our nation... DREAM BIG. Anything is possible," the actress added.

Sarah Michelle Gellar: shared a photo of Harris, Supreme Court Justice and women's rights activist Ruth Bader Ginsburg with the caption, "And as the mother of a daughter, I will never forget the moment that we watched together, as the first woman was called as Vice President-elect. And, as the mother of a son, to show him that men and women are partners and can accomplish anything when paired with respect."

Kim Kardashian: The reality star shared a photo of Biden and Harris with a blue heart emoji.

Ariana Grande: The singer expressed her joy by congratulating Joe Biden and Kamala Harris with lots of heart emoji.

Kirstie Alley: Meanwhile, Trump supporter and actress Kirstie Alley tweeted a response to a follower who urged her to be gracious. "You are kidding right," she tweeted

Scott Baio: Actor Scott Baio tweeted, "Liberals cheat and don't even care how the 'old white man' won. Republicans still have the Senate, the Supreme Court, and know the truth. Peace."
