Hoichoi releases teaser of Mosharraf Karim starrer ‘Mohanagar’

Popular online video streaming platform Hoichoi has recently shared the teaser and poster for its much-anticipated series 'Mohanagar' starring versatile actor Mosharraf Karim.

Written and directed by Ashfaque Nipun, the eight-episode hoichoi original series is set to air on the platform from 25 June, according to a press release.

Hoichoi released the official poster last week followed by the 36-second tease showcasing superstar Mosharraf Karim, as OC Harun. The streaming platform also revealed the faces of the lead cast members through character posters accompanied by individual dialogues from the show.

The launch ended with a message from the writer/director Ashfaque Nipun.

Nipun said: "It has been a great experience working with Mosharraf Karim, Zakia Bari Momo, Shamol Mawla, Mostafizur Noor Imran, Khairul Bashar, Nishat Priom and others, who have brought life to the characters. It's been equally great working with Hoichoi."

"I can't wait to see the response of it after the trailer drops on 19 June 19," he added.

The storyline of "Mohanagar," is a 7-hour long period inside a police station in Dhaka, where a mix of criminals, an eminent industrialist, the general public, press, are all waiting to know the fate of that particular night.

Besides the wildly popular trouper Mosharraf Karim, the series will showcase actor Zakia Bari Mamo as Shahana Huda, Shamol Mawla as Afnan Chowdhury, Mostafizur Noor Imran as Moloy Kumar and Khairul Basar as Abir Hasan.
