David Tennant's serial killer drama 'des' gets picked up by AMC’s Sundance

ITV's popular drama "des" starring David Tennant as British serial killer Dennis Nilsen has been picked up by series of international broadcasters and streaming platforms, including AMC Networks' Sundance.

"Des" was created by Luke Neal and Lewis Arnold. It follows Nilsen's journey from his arrest to a subsequent trial.

The series is based on a book by Brian Masters named "Killing For Company". The book attempts to understand the mind of the killer. Masters will also be a central character in the drama.

Tennant himself is a producer for the series, along with Willow Grylls, Kim Varvell, Charlie Pattinson, Elaine Pyke, Neal, Arnold.

The true-crime drama is expected to be a blast for the fans of this genre. Hyping the series a bit more as it gets traction from major distributors.
