Streaming content traffic increased dramatically in some countries.

As the Covid-19 pandemic ushered worldwide social distancing, people are streaming contents more than ever. The volume of streaming has seen a massive surge lately, a Berlin based company named 'Justwatch' reports.

Over the last weeks, streaming content traffic increased dramatically in some countries. JustWatch had a closer look at the number before and after lockdowns or other actions governments took to contain the spread.

According to their data, streaming in USA surged to as high as 201% on the third week of April. As the country announced national emergency on March 15, the streaming volume spiked onwards.

Moreover, Spain has an increase of 200% whereas Germany has an increase of around 130%.
