BTV will air a documentary based on the real life air force massacre

BTV will air a documentary based on the real life air force massacre that took place in Bangladesh in 1977.

Termed as one of the most brutal massacres in the history of the world, the mysterious coup lead to the death of numerous soldiers in the air force at that time, according to a press release.

The massacre saw the tears of a father losing his one and only son, a helpless mother had to witness the lifeless body of her son, a wife lost her beloved husband, and a child born during that time still bore the wound of being termed as the child of a traitor.

Then-president and chief martial law administrator, General Ziaur Rahman, killed countless of innocent soldiers in the name of so-called coups and mock trials to stay in power.

Through this documentary, people will get to see the true story of what truly happened on 2 October, 1977 and will answer the most asked questions like whether a coup really took place or was this a secret trap to kill the soldiers in the name of a coup.

"Nater Guru" will air every Thursday and Friday at 8:30 pm on BTV.
