The Borat sequel was filmed both internationally and in multiple locations in the US

The upcoming Borat sequel will be releasing October 23rd exclusively on Amazon Prime Video according to a report by Collider.

The Borat sequel was filmed both internationally and in multiple locations in the US, and Cohen, who is back in character as Borat, reportedly shot some risky scenes, even wearing a bulletproof vest on two occasions. Still, he was able to keep the project away from the public until Amazon officially announced it on Tuesday.

2006's Borat wasn't just a box office hit among frat boys either, as the film's screenplay was nominated for an Oscar, and Cohen won a Golden Globe for playing the prankster from Kazakhstan. The full title of the first film was Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, and the sequel is rumored to be titled Borat: Gift of Pornographic Monkey to Vice Premiere Mikhael Pence to Make Benefit Recently Diminished Nation of Kazakhstan according to a WGA filing.
