BanglaExpress releases SelaiJibon on YouTube

"SelaiJibon," a short film on the hardworking garment workers, was released on July 16 on BanglaExpress Films' YouTube channel.

Film director SohelRana Boyati's short film"SelaiJibon" is based on a short story named "Shorirbrittiyo"by Faruk Moinuddin.

The owner of BanglaExpress, Parvez Chowdhury, confirmed the news.

Boyatisaid "The garment workers lead a miserable life. Female workers are subjected to sexual abuse ona regular basis. And the child workers are growing up in an abysmal condition. We have tried to tell their tales," he said.

Shimul Khan, JoyeetaMahalnabish, Saju Ahmed, Neela, Papia Sadia are among the prominent cast members. AnikKantiSarkerwrote the screenplay whileFarhad Hossain shot the film.
