'Ananta Nakshatrabithi Ebong Ekjon Humayun' competition organised on Humayun Ahmed’s birthday

The ceremony was inaugurated by the Late Humayun Ahmed’s wife Meher Afroz Shaon.

Bangladesh Agricultural University arranged a special competition "Ananta Nakshatrabithi Ebong Ekjon Humayun" to pay honour to renowned author, Humayun Ahmed on the occasion of his 72th birthday.

The event was organised by Team Utshob and the program saw 360 participants from more than 50 institutions participating in the event, read a press release by the organisation.

The competition was held online and the event was divided into six segments. Participants had to compete with each other in the segments of Cosplay Photography, Book Photography, Hand Art, Digital Art, Alternate Ending of Humayun's Story and Character Analysis of Humayun created characters.

The submissions were judged by professional judges which included professional poets, writers, artists, photographers, filmmakers and respected teachers of Bangladesh Agricultural University.  

The winners were announced during the closing ceremony. The colourful ceremony was inaugurated by the Late Humayun Ahmed's wife Meher Afroz Shaon.

The event was sponsored by Shei Boi and The Business Standard acted as the media partner for the program.
