Aishwarya Rai, Aaradhya Bachchan test positive for Covid-19

After Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan, actor Aishwarya Rai and her daugher Aaradhya have also tested positive for the coronavirus. While Amitabh and Abhishek are admitted to the hospital, Aishwarya and Aaradhya are asymptomatic. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has said they will take a written declaration from Aishwarya if she and her daughter want to be treated at home.

The Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital said that Amitabh is stable with mild symptoms and is currently admitted in an isolation unit. Amitabh, 77, said in a tweet on Saturday that he has tested positive and appealed to those who were in close proximity to him in the past 10 days to get themselves tested.

Vishwas Mote, Assistant Municipal Commissioner, K west ward of BMC said, "All four bungalows of Bachchan family named Jalsa, Janak, Pratiksha and Vatsa have been sealed and declared as containment zone. We are conducting contact tracing among all staff members, and till now 30 have been identified as high risk contacts."
