BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe
BMW started producing the 2 Series Gran Coupe from 2019 to compete against Mercedes-Benz’s and Audi’s luxury sedan cars

Since its inception in 1916, Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, commonly known as BMW, has been producing the finest and most unique automobiles on the planet through exceptional engineering and advanced technology. Primarily, BMW started as a manufacturer of aircraft engines and then transformed into an automobile manufacturer in 1928.
In the recent decades, BMW has built many showstopping cars which sustain as well as they perform. However, other premium automobile makers have also come forward to challenge BMW's success.
In terms of entry-level luxury cars, premium automobile manufacturers like Mercedes-Benz and Audi have been competing neck to neck with BMW. Keeping that in mind, BMW started producing the 2 Series Gran Coupe from 2019 to compete against Mercedes-Benz's and Audi's luxury sedan cars.

The 2 series Gran Coupe, also known as 2 series F44, is a brand-new model in the BMW lineup which has two different turbocharged 4-cylinders to choose from with the standard all-wheel drive. The design of the car might not be appealing to everyone, but it comes with enough family resemblance to not look entirely out of order next to the similar 4 series Gran Coupe.
The 2 series Gran Coupe has the least resemblance to the 2 series Coupe. Rather, the genetic material used in this car is similar to the 1 series hatchback. It has a transverse engine and all-wheel drive system. The car comes in two models - 228i and M235i. The M235i Gran Coupe will be favored mostly by driving enthusiasts whereas the 228i Gran Coupe will be favored by everyone.

The BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe comes with amazing and versatile features. Here are some:
Engine, transmission, and performance
Both 2-series Gran Coupe models include a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. The one inside the 228i has 228 horsepower, whereas the M235i's has 301 horsepower.
All-wheel power and an eight-velocity computerised transmission are popular with each engine. On busy streets, the 228i feels sprightly and eager, and on highways it feels fast paced and smooth.
The M235i makes the entry-level model experience tame, and it can be even quicker than the X2 M35i with the equal powertrain; the latter controlled to hit 97 kmph in 4.6 seconds.
Additionally, the Gran Coupe has a sporty reflex which comes with its adjustable drive modes that includes a 8-speed Sport automatic transmission for fast and efficient driving.

Interior and technology
The interior of the 2-series Gran Coupe represents modern day BMWs, such as the new 3-series sedan and the X3 SUV. It is a simple driver-centered layout presenting ambient interior lighting that illuminates the dashboard and door panels.
BMW claims that the rear-seat legroom is nearly the same as the larger 3-collection sedan's, but generally, the interior feels comfortable for both, front and rear seat passengers.
The 2 Series Gran Coupe's small cargo space is sufficient for a quick grocery run and weekend trips, and the rear seats fold down to accommodate more space if required. The car also comes with integrated displays and a digital assistant to accommodate you with the most modern features a car can offer.

One of the unique features of the Gran Coupe is the head-up display – exhibits speed, speed limit information, navigation, etc. directly on the windshield. An 8.8-inch infotainment touchscreen sits atop the 2 Series Gran Coupe's dashboard, angled slightly towards the driver's seat for ease of access.
The navigation system is standard but equipping the car with additional features like SiriusXM satellite radio, a wireless smartphone-charging pad, and a Harman/Kardon stereo machine will cost you extra. BMW gives Apple CarPlay compatibility at no extra charge and will soon be including Android Auto integration in the lineup as a standard feature.
Safety
The safety features on the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe is pretty standard but it does not have comprehensive safety features as the high-end BMWs. The car includes a front collision warning system with autonomous emergency braking, lane switching warning with lane-keeping assistance and blind-spot awareness with automatic impact beams.
