Keeping up with the changing world, the job sector is also changing. In this rapidly changing spectrum, the millennials – born in between 1980 to 1996 – struggle a lot to find their dream jobs. Many Bangladeshi millennials – from cross-sectional educational backgrounds – look for local and international jobs. There is always a confusion over what would pay more. 

According to the College Consensus, certain jobs are going to be the most-paid ones for the millennial in the coming decade. We have listed down the top ten highest paying jobs globally. 

  1. Financial advisor

A financial advisor's role is to guide their clients in ways to grow and preserve their finances and other assets. Jobs within this sector are expected to grow by 15%  by the year 2026.

  1. Pharmacist

A degree in Pharmacy enables an individual to work in hospitals, pharmacies, medicine industry and other urban and suburban areas. Their main job centres around coming up with the formulas and dispensing medications to patients. 

  1. Data scientist 

A challenging field but those good with numbers find it rewarding as well. Data scientists work with collecting, analysing and organising data and using the results to help the institution they work for. The scientists also may be offered a chance to work with artificial intelligence, governments and research teams. 

  1. Actuary 

Generally, actuaries work at insurance companies and help them generate new policies that are less likely to be impacted by risk factors. Other places that need the assistance of actuaries are governments, retirement accounts and pension plans. 

  1. Anesthesiologist 

Anesthesiologists have been a high ranking career for many years due to its rewarding qualities. The job of an anesthesiologist is to provide a safe, drug-induced coma for patients in surgeries. 

  1. Nuclear engineer 

Nuclear engineers are taught how to make and work with the development aspects of nuclear energy. Their job is to design the equipment, learn how to operate it, and maintain it. 

  1. Software developer 

For those fascinated by designing technologies, websites, computer programs and applications, software developing is the ideal career route. This job requires the individuals to be innovative, creative and although the process may be tedious, the result is always rewarding.  

  1. Public relations managers

The role of PR managers is to maintain the brand image of a company or an organisation. A combination of interpersonal skill and communication skill will help an individual thrive in the field of work. 

  1. Computer system analyst 

With the help of their deep understanding of how computers and softwares work, a computer analyst's task is to improve the workflow of an organisation by working on efficiency and efficacy through existing technology. It is also on them to use methods to improve the bottom line for their organisations. 

  1. Environmental engineer 

The highly gratifying role of an environmental engineer is to preserve nature and work with the soil, water, air etc. Environmental engineers can also work with pollution and public health by helping people reduce the amount of hazards that surround us.
