Eid is going to be a bit different this time as video calls will replace get-togethers and the grand dinners will probably stay within families.

However, there is no reason why one should not get a trendy look, and a good makeover can help bring life to your outfit.

You may give yourself a makeover to get some amazing photo shoots done on your rooftop to post on social media or simply to feel beautiful during these difficult times.

Let us have a look at all the looks you could try this Eid ul-Fitr:

A fresh and minimal look

First, a good moisturiser is a must. After that, you can go for a BB or CC cream instead of the full-coverage foundations to get a natural finish.

A little shimmer on the eyes or just some strokes of eyeliner would do fine. Bring out some wings to have a foxy look!

Instead of contouring, you can try some light bronzing, but it is optional. Then put on your favourite lipstick. Picking up pinks, browns, and nudes would be a good choice for this look.

A long lasting glow

Prep your skin with an illuminating primer for the ultimate glow, and go for a foundation that gives a dewy finish.

A quick tip to get that highlighter popping is to wet the brush with some setting spray and highlight spots of your face such as your brow bones, the bridge of your nose, inner corners of your eyes, cupid's bow etc.

Adding some voluminous mascara would make the eyes look bigger. Put on your favourite lipstick and go for an illuminating setting spray to lock the dewy look.

The classic – smokey eyes and nude lips

A black smokey eye never fails to make you look extra-glam. However, blue, olive, brown, and grey smokey looks are on-trend as well.

If you get a heavy eye look, go for a nude lipstick to compliment it.

Doing a heavy contour will bring out your cheekbones, make the jawline sharp and make your nose look slimmer.

Use a peachy blush and a champagne highlighter to add colours and shine to the face.

Let the lips do it all

Do your base makeup real simple and bronze your face to bring back some shadows.

Apply eyeliner and a heavy coat of mascara. Fill in the waterline using a black kajol.

Get rosy cheeks with some pink blush and do a subtle highlight. For this look, we are going to pick out a bold lipstick in reds, maroons, deep magenta or dark brown.

Make it mask-proof

Imagine removing your mask at some point just to notice most of your makeup being stuck on it!

To prevent this, we got some quick tips. Use a sticky primer to hold the makeup together.

Some suggest that spraying the foundation brush with setting spray dries the foundation quicker.

You may use a little bit of translucent powder to set your face. Go for water-proof and budge-proof products.

Invest in a good-quality setting spray. Some makeup professionals even use the spray to lock in moisture.

Now that we got you covered with some looks, you may try these out for Eid-ul-Fitr.

Do not be afraid to experiment with your makeover. And keep in mind that you are beautiful with and without makeup. Eid Mubarak!
