Madchef’s new rice meals hit the right spot

Madchef has made quite a name for themselves with their burgers and their poutines but now during this pandemic, they have decided to add a range of rice items and are calling it 'For the love of rice'.

Always looking to keep their menu fresh and often being mistaken as just a burger joint, Madchef has always been bringing new and innovative items for their customers. 

They're delivering these four rice items - Spicy Basil Chicken and Shrimp, Creamy Mushroom Stuffed Chicken, Kachamorich Beef and Shrooms, Gyro Chicken over Rice - to your doorstep to ensure you can enjoy a fancy rice meal in the comfort and safety of your home in these testing times. 

Spicy Basil Chicken and Shrimp

This is probably the best item of the lot and the most balanced one as far as taste goes. The chicken is sautéed in a sweet and spicy sauce and this is a very nice blend. Adding shrimps is optional and will cost you an extra 50 taka. Priced at 299 taka + VAT, this is a solid rice dish and will certainly fill you up. We give this a 9 out of 10 rating.

Creamy Mushroom Stuffed Chicken

This is a really heavy rice meal with two big chicken steaks wrapped around mushrooms and cheese. The chicken is not too spicy or dry and is very nicely balanced out by the rice. This is a nice meal for those that want something heavy but not too spicy. Priced at 349 taka + VAT, we give this an 8 out of 10 rating. 

Kachamorich Beef and Shrooms

As the name suggests, this is the hottest rice meal of the lot and would be the preferred choice of spicy food lovers. There is a very healthy dose of beef covering the rice and sliced up mushrooms to go along and balance out the spice. The meal might be the choice of spice lovers but the balance of spices didn't gel as well as the others. Priced also at 349, we give this a 7 out of 10 rating.

Gyro Chicken over Rice

Last but not least, this rice meal has a whole heap of chicken slices on top with a white sauce which is sweet and sour and tangy. The combination once again goes really well and gives the food a Mediterranean feel and it would be an item you can't go wrong with. Priced at 299 taka + VAT, we give this another solid 8 out of 10.

Madchef has done it once again by introducing new items and doing them with aplomb. If you're not a fan of their previous items, chances are you will be a fan of their new ones and for that, it's definitely a place worth ordering food from.
