Method to make Ground Apple-Pie Spice
Combine all the spices in a small bowl and mix well.

Method to make Cake
Cream together the butter or margarine and sugar until it's light and fluffy. Mix in the lemon rind. Then gradually beat in the eggs. Fold in the flour and mix the spice. Then combine all the remaining ingredients together. Grease and line a 7-inch round microwave-proof dish. Pour the mixture on the greased dish. Bake the cake in the microwave on low for 35 minutes or until a skewer or toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Leave the dish to cool for 10 minutes. Serve.

Heavy cream or whipped cream-5tbsp
Method to make Chocolate Ganache
Melt the chocolate on low power for approximately 2 minutes, stirring every 20 seconds until melted. Add the cream and mix them thoroughly until smooth and glossy.
Method for Cake
Grease an 8.6-inch microwaveable cake pan with a little oil and place a baking parchment in the bottom. Mix the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder in a bowl. In another bowl, whisk the oil, eggs, vanilla, and 100 ml hot water until combined.
Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix it thoroughly until you have a lump-free batter. Pour the mixture into the cake pan and gently tap to pop any air bubbles. Cover with cling film.

Instant coffee powder-2tsp
Walnut pieces -small handful

Instant coffee powder-1tsp
Icing sugar- 100gm
Method to make Buttercream
Dissolve the coffee in the milk, then add the butter and icing sugar. Beat until it's smooth.
Method to make Cake
In a medium bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Gradually add the eggs, followed by the flour and instant coffee. Stir most of the walnuts into the batter, reserving a few for decoration. Transfer to a microwave-proof dish and cook in the microwave oven on full power for 2 minutes. Reduce the power to medium and cook for 2 minutes.
After 4 minutes, check to see if the cake is cooked – it should be risen and spring back when touched. If it needs a bit longer, cook on medium for 1 minute more at a time, checking after each minute until the cake is cooked. Remove and allow to cool.
After the cake has cooled down, spread over the buttercream on top of it evenly. Sprinkle the remaining walnuts on the cake. Serve.
