Syeda Nasmina Begum, who has severe asthma, fell in a great trouble when coronavirus started spreading in the country and the government resorted to lockdown strategy for containing the outbreak of the virus.
The woman, a housewife and a mother of three children, used to do all types of shopping for her family as her husband has to remain busy with his office work. But now she stopped going outside. Besides, she gave a leave to her domestic help for the time-being to ensure safety of her family members.
Now the burden of doing all the work made her more anxious.
Then Yaminul Alam, who is the youngest child of Syeda, came forward to ease his mother's struggle.
The 13-year-old boy has taken a lot of responsibilities of the family.
He brings her mother daily essentials from nearby shops and markets. He never forgets to wear enough safety gears while going outside. When it becomes necessary to go to any distant market, his elder brother does the task.
He cleans the floor of three rooms, including his parents' one, of their flat in the capital's Indira Road every day while his elder brother and sister clean their own rooms.
Sometimes, he makes his evening snacks on his own and washes the dishes.
The boy is also a source of joy in the family. Though Yaminul's father is usually an introvert, he enjoys making fun with him, who is also called by three other names -- Saif, Adnan Sami and Shams.
For example, when Saif is completely absorbed in playing games on his father's mobile phone, he feels that he is sweating. Then after a while, he discovers that it was his father who switched off the fan.
Then he starts yelling at his father. Both of them go to the person who resolves all the problems. And, yes, it is Saif's mother.
"My mother is the best mother and most beautiful woman in the world," said Saif.
Saif's mother said about her son, "My son is exceptionally generous and I need not to ask him for any help. He enthusiastically comes forward to help anybody."
