Samsung Galaxy A01 Core key specs and design
The Galaxy A01 could be the cheapest Galaxy A smartphone
Samsung is working on a new version of Galaxy A01. Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A01 Core, the smartphone is said to be the most affordable offering in the popular Galaxy A series. Based on the leaks, Galaxy A01 Core will also look quite different and more colourful than other phones in the series so far.
Leakster Evan Blass has posted what appears to be the official renders of the Galaxy A01 Core. The images reveal a textured back which is most likely to be a plastic panel. The phone will be available in red and blue colours.
Since it is going to be an entry-level smartphone, the phone has a single camera on the back with a flash. There is no fingerprint sensor on the rear either. The front has an archaic 18:9 screen with thicker bezels on the top and bottom. The top houses a selfie camera.
In terms of specifications, Samsung Galaxy A01 Core will have a 5.14-inch TFT screen with HD resolution. The phone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek MT6739WW processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It will run on Android 10 out-of-the-box with OneUI on top.
Interestingly, the phone is rumoured to have a user-removable battery, which is quite rare for modern smartphones.
