Bangladeshi youth making difference amid pandemic
Adham, along with a diligent team at his non-profit organisation, the Narayanganj Youth Club, have distributed roughly 10,000 bottles of sanitisers to the locals of Bangladesh
In times of peril and chaos reigning supreme, Mohammad Adham took up the mantle to provide humanitarian aid on a national platform.
Adham, along with a diligent team at his non-profit organisation, the Narayanganj Youth Club, have distributed roughly 10,000 bottles of sanitisers to the locals of Bangladesh.
His team has also taken up an initiative to launch a project which provides food packages to those suffering from this global crisis.
So far, his project has made the lives of 1,400 citizens easier in such difficult times.
"Day by day, the organisation and its activities just got bigger. It felt incredible when we started to get recognised for our work, offering a helping hand in society, said Mohammad Adham, president of the club.
Digging a little deeper into the man's story behind all these operations, sheds lights on someone extraordinary.
After receiving his degree in Finance Higher National Diploma in Bangladesh, Adham traveled to the United Kingdom seeking a more diverse education at the University of Sunderland in London.
"Studying in the UK was my first real opportunity to experience multiculturalism," he told an interviewer from the Sunderland University. "It was a chance to make friends, discover new places, and establish connections with like-minded people."
In the interview, he also spoke about his beliefs on success and how one can achieve it through unity and sharing a common goal.
With this mindset, Adham has already acquired a considerable amount of recognition. He was nominated as one of the top 100 most influential youth leaders worldwide in the Global Goals Summit, which took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In 2019, he also received an invitation from The Future Leader Congress, where he was recognized as one of the 100 young leaders impacting their communities.
Overall, Adham and his team have helped alleviate some of the burdens and daily struggles among the less privileged throughout this global pandemic.
