140 tonnes of rice allocated for Amphan victims in Khulna

Khulna district administration has allocated 140 tonnes of rice for the people of coastal area affected by the cyclone Amphan in Khulna.

The allocation was made for Dakop, Koyra, Paikgachha and Batiaghata upazilas adjacent to the Sundarbans in the district on Wednesday.

Khulna District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer Azizul Haque Joardar said, "The district administration has allocated 140 tonnes of rice for the affected people in the area. Of this, 50 tonnes has been allotted for Dakop upazila, 50 tonnes for Koyra upazila, 25 tonnes for Paikgachha upazila and 15 tonnes for Batiaghata upazila."
