‘The Matrix 4’ and ‘John Wick 4’ get the same release date

'The Matrix 4' and 'John Wick 4' will be released on the same day on May 21, 2021. Both movies will feature Keanu Reeves in the lead roles. 

The release date for John Wick 4 had its release date of May 21, 2021 confirmed back in August this year. On December 11, Warner Brothers Studios confirmed that The Matrix 4 will hit cinemas on the same day.

Matrix co-creator Lana Wachowski is directing the upcoming sequel. Reeves will costar in the film alongside the likes of Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris and Jada Pinkett Smith.

Production details on John Wick 4 are still a mystery, but the movie will reportedly start filming early next year. There is a chance that John Wick 4 director Chad Stahelski could complete the movie in less than a year.
