Actors Rashed Shemanto and Nazia Haque Orsha made a name for themselves with Eid tele-drama Moddhoraater Sheba, which was heavily praised by audience and critics alike. Following its success, the duo will be seen again in upcoming drama Laily Majnu.
Story by Tipu Alam, the screenplay has been written by Subata Rahik Zarifa. Directed by Ziaur Rahman Zia, cast of the drama includes Shafiq Khan Dilu, Milon Bhattacharya and Shelly Ahsan among others.The crew has already wrapped up the shooting.
The story revolves around a garment worker Majnu (Rashed) and a college student Laily (Orsha). After coming to Dhaka in search of work, Majnu falls in love with Laily. However, all the other men in the locality stay away from her as she is also liked by local hoodlum Jugol. Despite this, Majnu starts expressing his feelings for Laily. To know how the story unfolds, viewers will have to watch it when it telecasts today on Boishakhi TV at 8pm.
