Kanye West confirms 2024 US election run

Here we go again, rapper Kanye West has confirmed he attends to run for President of the United States in the 2024 election.

Just as Americans were gearing up for Trump's impeachment hearing, rapper Kanye West thought it was time for him to throw his name into the hat of American politics by confirming his candidacy for the 2024 US presidential election.

Wait! What ? Kanye West, and too as the president of United States! Just hold your horses and in your excitement do not overlook "2024" . As of this moment, president Trump is the 2020 Republican presidential incumbent.

Appearing at the fifth annual Fast Company Innovation Festival in New York, West confirmed he intends to run for President of the United States in the 2024 election.

"When I run for President in 2024," he said, to an audience erupting with laughter. "What y'all laughing at? We would create so many jobs! I'm not going to run, I'm going to walk.

When you see headlines saying Kanye's crazy – one in three African Americans are in jail and all the celebrities are in jail also because they can't say nothing, they got no opinion, they're so scared!"

It was also at the same event he said, he's considering changing his name to Christian Genius Billionaire Kanye West.

As the public tries to come in grip with reality ( and hopefully so does Kanye), president Trump's favourite weekday morning news show Fox & Friends has now endorsed a potential West candidacy.

"His new record, it is unbelievable. It's great. The messages are beautiful. He's a strong Christian. He'd get the support of the black community," described host Ainsley Earhardt. " When our current president announced that he was running, a lot of people laughed too," Earhardt said.

"He's a free thinker," added Pete Hegseth. "People like him who have been liberated by the president, to think more freely, ask the big questions that aren't being asked, and be aggressive about it."

This is not the first time the rapper has expressed his desire to run in the 2024 election. His recent actions seem, scarily, to back up these intentions. This includes lunching with Trump at the Oval Office and wearing a red MAGA hat, becoming a born-again Christian and releasing a Jesus-praising gospel album, as well as announcing his intention to manufacture his Yeezy apparel only in American factories.

He has also begun espousing conservative talking points during interviews, like in this recent conversation on BigBoyTv, where West spoke of the Democrats' "brainwashing" of African Americans.

To some, Kanye running for the presidency is a joke. However, for the 42 year old rapper, 2024 is the year he plans to take over a new frontier.

He's conquered the music charts, the fashion industry, and is even a regular fixture on his in-law's hot show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians".
