Emon will follow his ex-girlfriend Suchona to Nepal, where he will encounter AKM Hasan. This will give rise to a series of comical events.

After co-starring alongside Shakib Khan in "Password", model and actor Mamnun Hasan Emon is making headlines once again. Soon, the audience will be able to see him on the silver-screen in the upcoming film "Kanamachhi".

The movie is being directed by tele-drama director Anjan Aich who has just wrapped up the shooting of his directorial debut "Agamikal", now in its post-production stage. In addition to Emon, "Kanamachhi" will also cast Zakia Bari Mamo and Suchona Azad, all three of whom also starred in "Agamikal". Tele-actor AKM Hasan will be seen in the movie in a special role. The film will be produced under the banner of BD Box Multimedia.

Putting emphasis on the movie, director Aich stated, "This will be a comedy film. As per the movie's plot, Emon will follow his ex-girlfriend Suchona to Nepal, where he will encounter AKM Hasan. This will give rise to a series of comical events. Other than Bangladesh, most of the film will be shot in Nepal."

"I was quite comfortable with Emon, Mamo and Suchona, while working in my first film 'Agamikal'. That's why I decided to work with them once again. We will begin the shooting of 'Kanamachhi' from February of next year. Currently we are working on the screenplay of the movie. The film will also include Tutul Chowdhury, Arfan Ahmed and Mahabub," the director added.

When asked about his upcoming ventures, Emon said, "I was briefed on the theme of the movie and found it to be quite interesting. Despite it being a comedy, the film has a message. I will begin the shooting of 'Akbar' from January. After wrapping that up, I will start with 'Kanamachhi'."

Emon began his career in Tauquir Ahmed's 2007 film "Daruchini Dip". However, it was his performance in "Gohine Shobdo: Dark Renosance", which earned him widespread recognition. This performance won him awards at several international film festivals. He further solidified his position in Dhallywood through his acting in "Lal Tip: The Red Point".
