Drake: King of Reshaping Own Album

Drake surprised his legion of fans last week when he revealed that he was releasing a new compilation entitled Care Package, and he gave it to them less than a full day after her announced it. 

The project features 17 songs he recorded at some point between 2010 and 2016, and while some fans knew the tunes, they hadn’t been properly released for sale or uploaded to streaming platforms at any point.

Care Package is not an album, but a compilation, and that distinction makes this latest release one in a long line of projects from the superstar that come with an interesting label.

While some musicians only release albums, Drake has now made waves with not one, not two, not even three, but five different musical formats, and it’s a sign he’s not only interested in making great music, he’s also into seeing what he can do to innovate with every release.

He has done the works on EP, Albums, Mixtapes, Playlist projects, Compilations since he has started his career.
