There's a 50-50 chance of the movie releasing next Friday

Renowned West Bengal actor Dev recently paid Bangladesh a visit to campaign for the film "Password", which he produced and acted in. For the campaign, he was present in Dhaka club on Tuesday (26 November) night and explained the movie to the guests and media present.  The movie is imported by Shapla media and was supposed to be released next Friday, but now the release has become uncertain.

At first, the movie faced difficulties due to its name, since a movie with the same name, produced and acted in by Shakib Khan was released just a few months ago. The sensor board was in dilemma about whether it would be appropriate to release two movies with the same name so soon one after another. Then last night the sensor board approved it. However, Shapla media had not fixed the release date of the movie in proper time, which has created more complexities.

According to Shapla media's manager Badol, there's a 50-50 chance of the movie releasing next Friday. If they miss this Friday, then there's no telling when it might be released.

About the movie, Dev said, "I have many Bangladeshi fans. I hope they'll be able to enjoy the movie in a hall." Along with Dev, Rukmini Maitra acted in the movie.

Dev has also announced a new movie that he'd be acting in. Under the banner of Shaple media he's going to act in a film called "Mission Sixteen". It's going to be a high budget film, supposedly to be directed by Calcutta's Raja Chanda. The movie would have two heroines and would be shot at Bangladesh and Thailand. The shooting would start from January next year, informed Dev. It is hopefully going to be released before Eid-Ul-Fitr.
