Sony released the official trailer on Wednesday. Will Smith and Lawrence are back reprising their roles as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett. The high-octane trailer showcases the boys stuck in crossroads as Marcus wants to retire, while Lowrey is still skeptic to leave the high-speed life. Back in the franchise is the crazy, Captain Conrad Howard who is still busy shouting at the boy’s shenanigans.

The trailer ends with glimpses of new modern highly specialized Miami PD unit: Alexander Ludwig (Vikings), Charles Melton (Riverdale), and Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical) whose methods clash with Lowrey and Burnett’s old-school approach.

Directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah and written by Peter Craig, Carnahan, and Bremner, ‘Bad Boys For Life’ will hit the theatres on 17 January 2020.

The last film of the series, Bad Boys II came out in 2003, while the first installment hit the theaters back in 1995. The popular high-octane series also spawned a spin-off TV series titled ‘LA’s Finest’.
