'Andhadhun' to be remade in Telugu

Ayushmann received his first National Film Award for Best Actor for 'Andhadhun'

Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Andhadhun will be remade into Telugu and actor Nithiin will be playing the lead role in the yet-to-be-titled film. The Andhadhun Telugu remake will be directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and the film will go on floors in June 2020.

Andhadhun released in the year 2018 and was the reason Ayushmann received his first National Film Award for Best Actor. Ayushmann plays the role of a blind pianist in the film, who gets embroiled in a murder after witnessing it. Tabu and Radhika Apte played important roles in the film.

Andhadhun is directed by Sriram Raghavan and is also being remade in Tamil language. The Tamil remake is directed by Mohan Raja with actor Prashanth playing the male lead.
